Just a quick reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Thursday, October 16. Fall Break will run through Monday, October 20th and classes will resume on Tuesday, October 21st.
Earlier this afternoon, our Panic Button alert system was accidently activated. There was no emergency at the middle school.
WMS will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, October 13th and Tuesday, October 14th from 3:00pm - 6:00pm. North Campus conferences will be held on the North Campus in the 5th and 6th grade hallways. South Campus conferences will be held in the cafeteria. There is NO SCHOOL on October 16th.
WMS has added a game to their schedule against Weatherford. Game will be this week. Go Boomers!

Free/reduced lunch applications provide important funding for our students and our school. This is just a reminder to complete your free/reduced lunch applications via the parent portal (paper copies are available in the offices). These critical applications determine how much money our district receives in a variety of areas (both from a state and a federal level), so all families are encouraged to complete this application. Please complete the applications by September 30th so we may have the most accurate count possible.
Softball: Middle school games in SHATTUCK today have been cancelled. As of now, middle school games in Guymon are still on.
WMS Parents: WMS Picture Day is scheduled for Monday, September 22nd .
On Tuesday, September 16th, all 6th - 8th grade students will travel via buses to the high school at approximately 12:30pm to attend a video presentation on the OKC bombing. It will be presented by personnel from the OKC Bombing Memorial Museum. We will return to the middle school at approximately 2:15pm.
Come out to the Softball game this Thursday and support our Boomer Softball and a good cause. All donations will benefit the Minco Softball team. Lets show that Boomer Spirit!
In order for students to attend the homecoming parade on Friday, WMS will run an early release schedule on Friday, September 12th and dismiss at 1:45pm. Buses will run on a Monday schedule.

Once the doors open, please have your child exit the vehicle quickly so you may exit and allow for traffic to continue to flow.
